I have decided to add in a road works sign into my scene as an extra asset. I have done this because it will give the building a more industral feel and broken atmosphere.

Here are some more screenshots of how my car body has developed from the previous screenshots, as you can see the form is much more solid and visible.

The images above show further developments of my car concept, I have developed the back further, as well as adding a bottom to the car and some windows on the sides.

Here I have displayed some screenshots of my character's vehicle which I have began to create, I have used the same method of building the car as I did to build the body, this method seems to work very well as it gives me the symmetry that I need for the car. Once I am happy with the shape I will take the mirroring off and give the car some asymmetry to make it seem more realistic.

Here I have displayed the beginning of the destroyed part of my building, this has been created using the interactive split tool, once I had the shape I wanted I simply deleted the faces that I didn't need.

I have also hollowed out the barrel to give me space to possibly place objects inside such as wood or metal to give the impression of a barrel which is used as a camp fire or burner.

Here I have developed the barrel further and as mentioned in my previous post I have extruded the rims outwards to create the three dimensional feel that I was striving for. I have also delete a section of the barrel as I thought that it looked to tall and needed to lose a section to make it seem more believe and realistic, I feel this has paid off and the barrel and much more believable.

I have begun to build the barrels within my scene, I have simply used the cylinder polygon shape and the added some edge loops. Next I am going to extrude the edge loops outwards to create a three dimensional rim around the barrel.

This is the viewpoint of my scene and what the image is going to consist of.

As you can see i have begun to construct my building, here I have tried to create the general shape of the building which is a warehouse, although only the right hand corner of the building will be shown in the render I am going to construct the whole thing for later use, this could possibly be used during the walk cycle.

Here are a couple of images of lights that I have looked at when designing the light on the front of my building.

Here are some illusrations and photographs of gutters and how they work, I have uploaded these because I wanted to get a clear understanding of gutters when it came to building them around my structure.

Here are some photographs of destroyed buildings that I have looked at, my building in the scen is going to be a destroyed warehouse style building. I have researched many different styles of building in the images above to give me various ideas and inspiration.

Here are some photographs that i have taken from the internet of derby cars and doom buggies, my vehicle is going to be based around these designs as my character is going to a destroyed doom buggy style car.

Here is a drawing of my scene closer up giving me the right impression of what it is that I am going to design.

Character Scene

The two images above are developments of my character's scene, The first black and white drawing was drawn firstly pensil and basic shapes and then developed using a black fine liner pen, this allowed me to add more detail and pick out the lines that I wanted to use from my construction lines. This was then scanned in and then digitally coloured on Photoshop using a Wacom tablet. The coloured image is the end result.
